ANNARITA FLEMMA
PhD student
Annarita Flemma got her Bachelor degree in Biology Science at the University of Bari and her Master degree in Environmental Science at the University of Lecce in 2021, dealing with the development of an electrochemical poly-metalloporphyrin based sensor for environmental application.
After the Master degree, she won a Research scholarship at the University of Lecce in the laboratory of Environmental Analytical Chemistry, within the INTERREG Project CASCADE Italy-Croatia.
Currently, she is working at the University of Bari as PhD student in Chemical and Molecular Science in the group of Prof. G.M. Farinola. Her research activity focuses on the utilization of micro- and macroalgae for bioremediation, extraction and development of new materials for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and agricultural purposes.
