Stefania Cicco graduated in chemistry in 1994 and received her Ph.D. degree in chemical sciences at the University of Bari, Italy, in 1998. After a stay at the Politecnico of Bari working on the synthesis of organometallic catalysts, she became, in 2002, a CNR researcher at the Institute of Organometallic Compounds (ICCOM). Her current research interests include the design and synthesis of organic semiconductors and the chemical modification of bioinspired materials for applications in electronics and nanobiotechnology.
