DARIO LACALAMITA

PhD student

Dario Lacalamita got his master’s degree in Chemical Science at the University of Bari in 2020, focusing his thesis on the study of nanomaterials for photocatalytic applications in the environmental field.
In 2021 he obtained a research fellowship at the University of Franche-Comtè in Besançon where he was involved in the European Project FINEAU, with the aim to develop new lignocellulosic- based materials and Metal Organic Freamworks (MOFs) for emerging pollutant removal. Currently, he is a PhD student in Chemical and Molecular Science in G.M. Farinola’s research group at the University of Bari. His research deals with the development of microbial bioelectrochemical systems for the synthesis of green hydrogen.
