CAROLA RICCIARDELLI
Post-Doc
Carola Ricciardelli received her Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Salerno in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. G. Bifulco. Her experimental thesis was focused on the synthesis, purification and characterization of novel BRD9 protein inhibitors as anticancer drugs (project funded by AIRC). After graduation, she joined the research group of Prof. V. Pace at the University of Vienna where she worked on the development of new synthetic chemoselective methodologies.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical and Molecular Sciences from the University of Bari under the supervision of Prof. G. M. Farinola in January 2025. Her doctoral research focused on the study of green reactions for sustainable organic synthesis, with a particular interest in silk fibroin and its applications in the catalytic field. She is now a postdoctoral researcher.
