DAVIDE MESTO

Davide Mesto received his master’s degree with honours in Chemical Sciences at the University of Bari in 2021 under the supervision of Prof. G. M. Farinola. During his thesis internship, he worked on the extraction, characterisation, and valorization of lignin and ethanolic extracts from lignocellulosic biomasses with lignin-first green organosolv methods. From January 2022, he is a PhD student in the group of Prof. Farinola. His research deals with the development of green organic electroactive biopolymers and molecules for applications in energy storage devices.
